As a recent graduate of the Electronic Engineering Technology Advanced Diploma at Humber College, I was able to get a position as an IT centre technician at IBM. I chose Humber because it has one of the best electronic programs and a high employment rate. The practical work I did was exactly what was required during my interview and that is how I landed my job. During my time at Humber I got involved outside of the classroom as a student ambassador. I helped international students through their journey at Humber which allowed me to develop new interpersonal skills. Humber has helped me shape my future career goals by providing with the necessary knowledge and industry practices for my field. My advice to future international students is to complete everything on time and reach out when you need help. There is always someone at Humber to help you.
