Reach out to your exchange coordinator at your home institution. You will need to check that there is a partnership between Humber and your Home institution first. Only students from a Humber partner institution can be nominated for an exchange semester.
Your exchange coordinator will assess your eligibility for exchange. If successful, your exchange coordinator will nominate you to Humber College.
Once nominated by your home institution, you will need to submit the following three forms. Submission instructions will be sent to you by Humber College after you have been nominated.
Students should budget $500-$800 CAD for course textbooks. Other approximate monthly costs of living are around $600 - $800 per month (this does not include accommodation).
You can find more information about opening a bank account in Canada here.
To ensure that all exchange students at Humber have access to basic health care while studying at Humber, health care insurance is mandatory for all exchange students. Students are responsible for paying for the International Student Insurance provided through Humber, currently Morcare.
Students may elect to purchase additional insurance as needed. Please find more information about health insurance here.
Incoming students studying for less than 6 months may require a visa or ETA that may be an additional cost. You will receive more information upon receipt of a Humber offer letter.
