The International Centre is now open, and our hours of operation for Humber North, Humber Lakeshore and the Humber International Graduate School are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Our phone lines are also operational.

While you can come to the International Centre for advice and help, students will not be able to book individual 1-1 appointments in person for now. We will let you know when this option is available once we have a confirmed date. If you need to speak with someone from the admissions or student advising team, you can request a virtual appointment through the Contact form

Planning to begin your studies at Humber? Here's what you need to know about study permits, refunds, and post-graduation work permits. Current approximate application processing time is approximately six weeks.

There are many reasons why students experience academic difficulties; personal problems, homesickness, cultural adaptation, financial problems, motivational issues, and study skill deficits are just a few. 

International Student Advisor: You can make an appointment with an International Student Advisor to discuss any academic or personal issues. Please go to the International Centre at your campus, LRC Building 2ndFloor (North) or H100A (Lakeshore).

Learning Skills Workshops: Topics include Study Skills, Time Management, Stress Management, and Exam & Test Writing. Full listing of workshops

Peer Tutoring: Sign up for a peer tutor who will give you one-on-one support for a specific course. Read more 

Counselling Services: For further academic and personal support make an appointment with a counsellor in the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre.

Specialized Support Centres: Visit one of these centres for one-on-one help: Writing Centre, Math Centre, Accounting Centre, Academic and Career Success Centre

24/7 AdvisingHSF’s Lifeline service will allow you to talk to someone at any time. Support and services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Translation services in over 50 languages are also available at the call centre intake level. Get support with legal issues, relationship problems, and more.
