Map the System Humber Finals

Humber IGS students will again represent Humber College in the Canadian Semi-Finals for Map the System. Map the System is a global competition through the Said Business School at the University of Oxford which provides students from around the globe the opportunity to explore social and environmental issues through a systems thinking lens.

The cross-disciplinary team includes Kimberly Almeida from the Information Technology Solutions program and Marilyn Borges, Navrose Juneja, and Anwulika Ngene from Entrepreneurial Enterprise Management. They will take their project, "Fast Fashion is (still) not sustainable: A systems thinking look at fast fashion's "sustainability" efforts" to the Canadian semi-finals with an eye on Oxford later in the summer. Their project looks at the industry's practices that continue to call into question ethical practices for sustainable futures.
