First Year Experience (FYE) is a mentoring program that connects first-year students with senior students from the same program or faculty
to help them succeed in their first year academically and socially. Your mentor will contact you each week to let you know about the exciting events, workshops, contests, and volunteer opportunities that is happening at Humber. Your Peer Mentor is also there to answer any questions you might have. We also host a ton of events like Nutella day, Diwali, Carnaval and much more! FYE is a great way for you to expand your network, meet a ton of new friends, and an easy way to start getting involved on campus. Many of our FYE participants have gone on to become student staff on campus, have become involved in different clubs, and have become executives at IGNITE. While we will be an online program for Fall 2020, we will still host online events, which is a great way for you to interact with other students and get a chance to win awesome prizes!
Make sure to follow us on Instagram @HumberLakeFYE for Lakeshore and @HumberNorthFYE for North Campus for more information.
