Humber’s International Education Week (IEW) is coming this November 21-25, 2022!
Join us in our celebration and showcase of the impact international education has in preparing our students and our communities for engaging in global issues, global citizenship, and cross-cultural exchange.
International Education Week has been celebrated globally since 2000, which recognizes the contributions of international students, the benefits of studying abroad, and the impact of international education for all. Today, more than 6,500 international students choose to study at Humber from more than 130 countries and more than 800+ students experienced global learning opportunities on and off campus in the past year.
Register below for our celebrations, workshops, student-led events, and more, both in-person and virtually, to strengthen the understanding of international education and highlight our Humber international initiatives!

First Year Experience (FYE) is a mentoring program that connects first-year students with senior students from the same program or faculty
to help them succeed in their first year academically and socially. Your mentor will contact you each week to let you know about the exciting events, workshops, contests, and volunteer opportunities that is happening at Humber. Your Peer Mentor is also there to answer any questions you might have. We also host a ton of events like Nutella day, Diwali, Carnaval and much more! FYE is a great way for you to expand your network, meet a ton of new friends, and an easy way to start getting involved on campus. Many of our FYE participants have gone on to become student staff on campus, have become involved in different clubs, and have become executives at IGNITE. While we will be an online program for Fall 2020, we will still host online events, which is a great way for you to interact with other students and get a chance to win awesome prizes! Make sure to follow us on Instagram @HumberLakeFYE for Lakeshore and @HumberNorthFYE for North Campus for more information.

Description: First Year Experience (FYE) is a mentoring program that connects first-year students with senior students from the same program or faculty to help them succeed in their first year academically and socially. While we will be an online program for Winter 2021, we will still host online events and workshops, which is a great way for you to interact with other students and get a chance to win awesome prizes!

While we will be an online program for Winter 2021, we will still host online events and workshops, which is a great way for you to interact with other students and get a chance to win awesome prizes! Make sure to follow us on Instagram @HumberLakeFYE for Lakeshore and @HumberNorthFYE for North Campus for more information.

First Year Experience (FYE) is a mentoring program that connects first-year students with senior students from the same program or faculty to help them succeed in their first year academically and socially.
