International students in Canada with a valid study permit can get immediate admission for the Jan 2024 and a $1000 bursary*.

*$1,000 automatic scholarship is available for new applications submitted on or after Nov 1st, 2023 by international applicants currently residing in Canada with a valid study permit.

Whether you're a current Humber international student seeking a second program, a temporary resident in Canada looking to apply for the first time, or a student with a valid study permit aiming to transfer credits from another Canadian institution, we've got you covered. We also welcome international students with a study permit who have obtained or are in the process of obtaining an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and those who have completed or are pursuing an English Pathway Certificate from a Humber English School Partner.

Already a Humber student? 

Current Humber International Students can apply to a second post-graduate program at no charge.

Applying for a second graduate certificate at Humber is easy.

  • Fill out the International Contact Form and select "Yes" to the question, "Have You Applied to Humber College?"
  • Choose the "Application Status" question topic.
  • Fill in the "Type in your question" field with "I would like to apply for a second program starting in September"

The International Centre will provide you with a code that will enable you to apply to a second program at no extra charge.

International Students Can Stack and Stay Longer

Ontario Graduate Certificates in Business

International students have the opportunity for early admittance into a second Ontario Graduate Certificate Business Program in the following year. Stack your education and potentially earn credits that lessen your course load in year two, allowing you to work or spend more time immersing yourself in Canadian culture! Extend your stay and double your employability skills through two work terms across two business programs. The extra year of studies will give you qualifications for a potential 3-year post-graduate work permit.

Undergraduate Programs

Post-graduation Work Permit

After graduating from a program that meets the necessary requirements, you can apply for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP), which may be issued for a duration equivalent to the length of your program or up to a maximum of three years.

The PGWP is an open work permit that allows international students to work for any employer in Canada. Your in-Canada work experiences may help you become eligible for the immigration pathway programs. e.g Express Entry. Your Canadian work experience may support your PR application if you meet all the program eligibility requirements.
