International students and International Centre staff offered some time out of their busy agendas to help clean Humber’s Lakeshore Campus last Tuesday, March 29th. This event was part of Humber Earth Week, promoted by the Humber Sustainability team, with the aim of creating awareness of environmental issues, such as transportation alternatives (Smart Commute), recycling and climate change.
Kent Schroeder was surprised and, yes, happy to receive an award for his research on Bhutan’s unique development strategy, Gross National Happiness.
Spring has arrived (despite the snow!) as we approach the final weeks of this school term. It’s time to focus on final assignments and exams, but don’t forget to take some time out and recharge your batteries!
