Travel, learn and grow! Humber’s Semester Abroad Exchange Program is your opportunity to experience the world and go to school at the same time!
Watch the video to hear Humber students talk about the benefits of spending a semester abroad.
Applications are now being accepted for 2018-2019! Application deadline: March 12, 2018!
Academic exchange opportunities stem from a formal agreement between Humber and an academic institution of similar stature abroad. A key advantage is that you pay your regular tuition and fees to Humber, and are not subject to international student fees at the partner school. You may be eligible for OSAP, and for Humber’s Study Abroad/International Mobility Bursary for additional financial support. You also benefit from the experience of Humber students who have studies at the same institution in the past, and faculty/staff who have worked closely with our partners to build the relationship between our schools. Academic credit successfully completed abroad will be transferred to your Humber credential, to keep you on schedule for graduation.
Plus, the opportunity to study abroad in a different country is… pretty awesome, right?
Following is a step-by-step guide to apply for Humber’s Semester Abroad Exchange program.

Humber students may independently request to attend an accredited college or university abroad by attaining approval from your Program Coordinator in the form of a signed Letter of Permission. Non-exchange opportunities are not limited to institutions that have signed a partnership agreement with Humber, and can open up many new possibilities. However, students studying on non-exchange programs abroad are subject to paying the tuition set by the host institution and are often accountable for higher international student fees. You will also be responsible for more upfront research as the school you select may be unfamiliar to Humber faculty and staff.
Please review and complete the entire Application Kit which includes detailed instructions on the application process, Key Contacts, guidelines to writing a Letter of Intent, Terms and Conditions and the Application Form.
All applicants are required to have a GPA of 70% or have written permission from their Program Coordinator. You can access your Grade Report from MyHumber.
Congratulations! You are now ready to submit your application for the Semester Abroad Program. Please submit your completed Application, Letter of Intent and Grade Report by deadline: March 12, 2018 either by e-mail or in person to:
