Bernadette Vina'

Bernadette Vina

My name is Bernadette Vina and I’m an International Student Ambassador from Indonesia. I’m in the process of finishing my degree in journalism.

I went to Humber out of curiosity and as soon as I started, I fell in love with my program. The thing I love the most about Toronto is how it’s basically a Canadian Hollywood. One thing you should about me is my obsession with peanut butter, I can finish one regular jar in two days.

Divesh Oree

I’m an international student from Mauritius studying computer engineering technology. I came to Humber because I wanted to join a college that would challenge me and at the same time offers support to allow me to grow academically and personally. Humber hits a beautiful balance between intense learning and spontaneous, eclectic fun that creates a very positive, supportive and respectful community. Toronto’s motto is “Diversity Our Strength”. It’s healthy arts scene, numerous sporting events, a vibrant nightlife, restaurants, bistros and eateries featuring cuisine from just about any nationality one could think of just amazed me and made me fall in love with the city.

Dominika Szpunar

I’m from Poland and I am studying a Bachelor of Interior Design at Humber. Before choosing Humber, I researched a lot and I found out that this program provides thorough and professional education for designers. That is the reason why I chose Humber and now I know that it was the right choice.

Another reason for coming to Toronto is due to it’s cultural diversity. I always wanted to know more about different cultures and now i have the opportunity to meet people from different parts of the globe. I also love the raw, wild nature and i’m fascinated with Canadian nature. Now I can explore the wilderness in northern parts of Canadian nature. Now I can explore the wilderness in northern parts of Canada as well as the fascinating multicultural city of Toronto! I am interested in art and in Toronto I was able to find multiple fascinating art exhibitions and cultural events that exceeded my expectations.

Nishant Pandya

I am from Baroda, Gujarat, India, and I’m attending the Global Business Management program. I chose Humber because the college offered the courses I wanted and Lakeshore campus is just like Hogwarts (nerd feelings!). What I like most about Toronto is the city’s nightlife and walking the streets. The spirit of the city engulfs me!

How would I describe myself? I’m a firm believer that we were created for far greater things than complacency.

Sean Le

Sean Le

I got my Canadian name when I first moved to Toronto from South Korea so I would be happy to be called Sean. I am studying Marketing at Humber College and I am enjoying it a lot in spite of the fact that four years in school seems like forever for me.

Even so, I don’t feel like moving anywhere else, even going back to my home country after my graduation. The reason why I’ve been enjoying myself and have been learning alot here in Toronto is that I haven’t been able to experience this before! My experiences in Canada have been invaluable to me.
