Eligibility

What is the Challenge?
Competitors will form two- or three-person teams. Teams will choose between two of the following market leading Canadian products.

Show us your marketing savvy: Your team will create a limited marketing plan related to the introduction of that product into China. For example, these marketing plans will cover such subjects as:
- Target Audience
- Competition
- Messaging
- Consumer feedback
Show us your publicizing capacity: each team will develop two posters based on target product to introduce, publicize and promote it to potential consumers!
- An effective call to buy
- Reflects the brand goals and being consistent with company branding
- Designed with the intent that it be used a shopping mall, a store or a bus stop
Show us your creativity: Teams will also get to show their creativity, through completing a video clip to promote the chosen product!
- Your video will not be judged on the professional quality of your filming, but rather the creativity of the ideas and applicability to target audience (think "YouTube", not a commercial).
- Video submissions should not be professionally produced or edited, though desktop editing is acceptable.
- Your video may not be longer than two minutes in length.
Show us your communication skills: All of your work will be in English!
