Through the use of case studies and guest lectures delivered by successful entrepreneurs, students will critically analyze how entrepreneurship and innovation interrelate, how to manage creative thinking and how to identify and evaluate new opportunities. By the end of the course students will demonstrate how to start-up new business ventures. They will work through the entrepreneurship process beginning at the opportunity identification stage and conclude with a well-developed, innovative product concept that creates value and fulfills the wants and needs of a marketplace.
