Before moving to Canada, I was a professional badminton player in China. I’ve been playing since I was six years old. At the age of ten, I was selected for the professional team in Jiangsu Province and I dedicated my time to training and playing. I choose Humber because of its credibility. The Recreation and Leisure Services Diploma combines my interests in sports and my athletic background. During my program, I had exposure to the Canadian sports industry and that helped me open my badminton school in Canada.

Some of my awards include:

• China National Master Sportsman Certificate 

• China Intercity Games Champion

• Chinese National Championships Silver Medalist

• Badminton World Federation Canada Open Top 4

• Over 15 Canadian Senior National Elite Series Champions

• CCAA Nationals Champion for three consecutive years
